People are so stupid about snakes. If there’s a little black racer chilling outside just leave it alone, you don’t have to kill it, it’s probably dealing with all your pests for you, jesus christ

If you kill a non venomous snake that’s just silly and cruel and betrays a disgusting worldview of blind hatred and fear of other beings,

and if you kill a venomous snake that’s VERY STUPID because trying to kill a venomous snake is the best way to get bitten by a venomous snake.

Having a venemous snake lurking around is also a good way to get bitten by a venemous snake

Also the harsh moral judgement is really unnecessary. It’s a snake, not being racist

and that’s why you leave it alone ! snakes don’t attack unprovoked. they attack you if you try to pick them up or actively disturb them. there’s something awesome called looking it up and finding credible sources online /nm

In this instance the snake was confirmed to be a black racer and nonvenomous by someone with a doctorate in biology so I think by all standards this was a bit of an overreaction to a little guy chilling outside helping me with pest control

“lurking around” it is literally just existing

but seriously

idk as much about snakes in other areas but the USA has its fair share of venomous snakes, and these venomous snakes Do Not want to bite you.

They NEED that venom to kill their food, it takes time and energy to make venom, and they really don’t want to waste it on some random asshole unless that asshole is going to kill them, so usually you’d need to directly step on it or actively try to kill it

And even then sometimes they will do what’s called a dry bite and bite without injecting venom, hoping you’ll get the point and go away

Spirit Animal is racist.

Patronus was invented by a transphobe.

I think it’s time we all suck it up and say what we mean: fursona.

I know this is a jokey post (rip OPs notes) but a fursona is typically an animal REPRESENTATION of YOURSELF, not an external animal that is strongly meaningful to you and your life/journey.

I’ve seen daemon and familiar proposed, but to keep in line with the cursedness of the original post, may I suggest: spiritual tamagotchi

do you have any idea how refreshing it is to see a correction/suggestion to this post that actually understands the assignment

Pokemon. Is a pokemon.

“I love Danny Devito. Danny Devito is my starter pokemon”

oh yeah that’s good. that’s really good.
